Here's a bit about who we are and what we do!
Thanks for taking a minute to get to know The Rash Team a little better. We're native Delawareans living in Milford, products of area schools, and we both have family living nearby. We moved to Milford in 1995 and bought our home on Hall Place in 1998. In January, 2007, we bought our current home in The Heath on Haven Lake. Also, in January, I was involved in a motorcycle accident when my Harley struck the stop-sign-running-nonlicensed-noninsured-illegal-motorist who pulled into my path. Fortunately, I'm well, on the mend, and enjoying the view.
Carolyn got her real estate license in 1996. Although we had planned on working together, for both of us to jump into the business at the same time just wasn't practical. So, Carolyn got started and I went to work for her (Okay, I'll admit it was humbling!) in January 1997.
Since that time we've been partners in the business and partners in the Rash Team. In 1999 we realized that we needed another agent to help us with our business. Since then the team has had several configurations, all of which have been beneficial to our customers and clients. Our son, Bill Rash, and daughter, Melody Mackert, still work closely with us and you can find Bill and Melody's listings included on this Web site.
Thanks to working with some terrific clients, our business became almost exclusively referral-generated. That gave us the incentive to move our business to RE/MAX Twin Counties. Making the move has proven to be one of the best decisions we've made. Every day we realize how fortunate we are to be affiliated with the RE/MAX brand and Glenn and Donna Watson, the owners of RE/MAX Twin Counties, with whom we anticipate a long and favorable relationship.
In Business 101 classes across the country it is taught on or about the first day the class meets that every business needs to have a mission statement ... a clear, concise statement about what that business does and how it does it. While I completely agree with that, it's difficult trying to combine everything Carolyn and I do into either a clear or concise statement. We work with sellers and buyers, lawyers and home inspectors, plumbers and roofers. Each requires wearing a different hat, if you will. But for all those people, we say, "We'll not waste your time or money." Now, if that's a mission statement it certainly isn't profound nor is it typical but it's relevant and here's what I mean ... If you're a seller, we won't show your home to someone who we know can't afford it. If you're a buyer, we'll not waste your time going to every home RE/MAX Twin Counties has listed. We'll only show you homes that meet your requirements, including affordability. If you provide a service to our clients or customers, you'll know exactly what is expected of you, who's going to pay for it, and when. That's how we expect to be treated. And we think that's how you should be treated, too.
Well, that's who we are and a somewhat simplified version of what we do. We look forward to meeting you and being able to discuss with you the local real estate market and your situation in particular. Together, you and The Rash Team will develop a strategy that maximizes your interests and works within your time frame. |
